VP, Military And Veteran Affairs
The Modern Military Association of America (MMAA), the nation’s largest LGBTQ military and veteran non-profit organization, announced a significant new partnership with Parsons who will provide funding for the 2021 MMAA Military Spouse Scholarship and the 2021 Donna Johnson Equality and Valor Award, which honors the life and legacy of one of Parsons’ former employees — Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Donna Johnson — who was killed in action by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. Donna’s widow, Tracy Johnson, also worked for Parsons.
Assistant Inspector, Mobility Solutions
I am proud to be part of a company that values sustainability as one of its core values and is conscious of the impact our work has on the environment. As an Inspector, I value being able to contribute by reinforcing our values in providing environmental-friendly, and effective solutions on our projects. Earthub is a business that grew out of a realization that there are so many hard to recycle single use items that we use every day. While it is not my primary job, it inspires me to find connections between what I do at Parsons and my personal passion for environmentalism.
